Sleep Helps you Lose Weight

There seems to be the best way, but the lack of sleep can contribute to get the extra pounds. The medical evidancia increasingly shows that the quantity and quality of sleep directly affects certain hormones that control appetite.

Indeed, changes in hormone sleeping too much, but recently they have attracted the attention of scientists for their potential associations with body weight in humans: leptin and ghrelin.
These hormones play an important role in controlling satiety, inform the institution that we eat enough, and provide a sense of fullness. The second production can be affected as our sleep cycle.

Ghrelin is produced in the digestive tract and stimulate the appetite, while leptin produced in fat cells, acts as a courier to send a signal of fullness to the brain. He has shown that lack of sleep causes leptin levels to fall, to keep our brains to see clearly whether we are satisfied after eating, and ghrelin levels also increased with increasing appetite. These two phenomena contribute to increased food intake.

A study by Stanford University and the University of Wisconsin in 1000 volunteers showed that those who slept less than eight hours a night not only had lower levels of leptin and ghrelin concentrations increase, but higher body fat content.
In addition, body fat levels seem associated with their sleep patterns. Those who slept less weighed more.

Some people can sleep a normal amount of sleep or even more, but end up feeling more tired than the night before.
In many cases, may be known as sleep apnea disorder. Here, although the required hours of sleep because of breathing problems preventing a normal part of air into the lungs, and people can stop breathing up to one minute, and stopped even hundreds of times a night, resulting in a lack of sleep, restorative.

Many patients with sleep apnea is obesity. However, researchers have found the paradox that these people have leptin levels significantly higher than usual. There are several theories to explain this contradiction.
First, not everyone has the same response to hormones and other factors affecting their production, such as dietary habits, physical activity patterns, stress management, and family heritage.

On the other hand, people with sleep apnea may require large amounts of leptin because they have decreased their responses, such as people with diabetes produce insulin in large amounts without any decrease in glucose levels.

There are many people who suffer from sleep apnea without realizing it. If you sleep too much, but more out sientiene should consult with your doctor.

BY J. Z. MÁLAGA healthy living has many rewards. One is more comfortable with his body and a better mood. With more energy and a more positive attitude towards life. That is the belief Malaga Rafa Martín, a young man has also been rewarded lifestyle with another benefit: the chance to be cover of the magazine 'Men's Health. " Tonight, this degree in Audiovisual Communication display their charms in the final competition of new faces of that publication, which comes with "illusion", but acknowledges that the other four finalists "have many possibilities."
"I would lie if you do not recognize that I have hopes to win, but I am also very realistic: there is much competition," said Martin, who at thirty years has been selected from more than 500 participants to the 'throne' of 'Men's Health. " Readers of the magazine, through online voting were stressing the physical and personality of Malaga to place it on the short list of the semifinal, which was attended by 15 models.

On 12 October, a jury of fashion experts, including models and Miriam Suárez María José Reyes and the designer David Delfin, selected Martin as one of the top five candidates. "I met the competition by chance. I had never raised any of this. In fact, this is my first experience as a model. I encouraged them to target me and people started to vote for me. Did not develop in this world, so we do not sell any character: show me how I am myself, "he says.
The Malaga says not to keep any secret to an enviable figure: "Exercise and healthy eating." "With about 45 minutes of exercise enough, but the weakness is in the food, which accounts for 80% of the work.

Nutrition is fundamental. Controlling the food is how I've been changing my body," he says.
Philosophy of life. And the best thing is that Rafa Martin shares the philosophy that preaches the magazine 'Men's Health', which is much less effort.
